I am getting the same errors, and am sure it's regarding permissions...
Installing SysAid on \\GATEWAY.
Installation failed, reason: can't create remote directory (\\GATEWAY\C$\Program Files\SysAid) , error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect
Finish.
GATEWAY being the computer i'm trying to install on...version 6.01 of the deployment tool, and am wondering exactly where to enable/open the TCP/UDP ports....i thought I did it in both Windows Firewalls, even tried on my LAN router....there's only the 2 computers on this internet network at this time...I noticed when I tried to 'undeploy' to GATEWAY, it tried to login as GUEST....is that a SYSAID default?
Any help would be so appreciated...I didn't want to open a helpdesk ticket over this, as i'm sure it's something simple i'm missing...

I just upgraded to version 6 of SysAid and now have a 'Quick List Description' in my new SR field....How do I populate that list or can I in preferences somewhere? just curious...version 5.6 did not have that field....Thanks

Does SysAid use the default port for POP3 (my ISP's is not the default...)??? That may be my issue, as I did successfully configure Outlook Express to send and receive....
Also, I only need integration for SR notification, but i'm guessing you can't simply NOT have any incoming mail information in the SysAid intergration tab....that wouldn't work at all I guess...
Thanks for your help!!!!!!!

I recently switched ISP's for my small business. Before, my email notifications for new SR's were working fine, as well as for changes & closes, etc. I will give screen shots of my current integration page...my new email info consists of my new company account name, sccsinfo@att.net, & the account created just for integration, sccsaid@att.net. My ISP does require SSL encryption and I have entered the port correctly on the SMTP tabs in Outgoing email. I have a ticket on this as it worked fine before, but just wondered if something stood out as an obvious mistake in these screens...I did see some SMTP errors in my log, which I will post here BEFORE my screen shots...
LOG ERRORS IN THE SAME GENERAL TIME FRAME....
