Hi TechGuy,
Was there any reply from Ilient on the know bug list for publication, as it would be a great idea to have this list to refer to before we continue to submit a SR.
If Ilient does not provide a list, why don't we the forum user compile a list from our own SRs which are pending due to known bugs.

We are very happy running the application on VMWare but our DB is MS SQL and it is on a physical server shared with other SQL DBs, the only problem accours whenever the SQL Server goes down due to the load from the other processes.
I am thinking of either installing a MS SQL Express on the same VMWare as the application or moving towards My SQL on the same VMWare.
Has anybody tried using SysAid with MS SQL Express (DB size is maxed at 4G) or MySQL? How is the performance?
For those running SysAid over a few years any idea how big will the DB get over time? Presently we have been using it for a year now and DB size less than 500M.

Thanks Haim, for the info, it was great help.

Thanks everyone for the input, it works after using the 'Select Install Names' but seems the OS installed captured by the agent is not in the list of Install Names.
Haim how do we handle licensing for OS installed on each servers in SysAid?
Thanks and regards

Anybody has how to add the "Admin Group" into the Customised Notification emails to the users as well the administrators?
Example the "Assigned To" is as below;
Assigned To: ${AssignedTo}
What should be in ${} for Admin Group?

Thanks bro...
Our setup is a mentioned by Haim (Unicode: UTF-8. Content Type: text/HTML; charset=utf- this is true for out going mail from sysaid.
But we are sending a Hyperlink into Sysaid through outlook and we need to preseve this link in Sysaid in Description of the SR as well as when we send out a notification from Sysaid.
Apprently any hyperlink sent through email to sysaid is stripped of the html tags. Hence the outgoing notification only has text minus the html tags.

Hi SysAid Team,
We need add a hyperlink in a SR submitted to sysaid through email.
Presently whenever we add any hyperlink to the mail sent to sysaid the hyperlink appears as text only.
How can we resolve this....

Is this issue resolved in release 5.6.2?
If not how can we disable the link but still show that there is an Attachment.
Thanks and regards....

Now a pop quiz...
What do you do with devices that do not have mail notification capability ?
*wicked wicked eyes*
Hey Obelix for your pop quiz we have solution here we are using;
We have been using a separate monitoring tool called Whatsup Gold, it monitors all our assets on the network and provides full support for SNMP and WMI network management.
We have configured the tool to send out the email notifications to SysAid for different assets just as you have mentioned. This allows us better degree of control for monitoring all our assets on the network.

Hi Harold.Ballinger,
Make sure that the new statuses "Nearly Due" and "Overdue" you create in
Customize --> Customized List --> List ( Select Status) and ensure that the class for the new statues is set to Open, Make sure save the changes.
