just a note we use an ssl vpn with a series of rules in the vpn appliance to access citrix so the answer is both! VPN and Citrix

Hi
This is fairly easy to do
In Preference and then integration you have you email options.
In here if you have no done so already set up and email account you can pull from whilst setting this up you can set the priority and this way say that all calls emailed are hight priority.

In tasks and Notifications you can create a reoccurring Tasks.
First in notifications create a notification i give them the same name as i will my task
Then in Tasks create a task and in notifications choose the notification you created an create a schedule for it too happen.
We use these all the time for Q, Monthly and daily tasks works a treat

So now having left them a long time ago we have a much more fun approach

1. Im pretty sure you have to delete the old asset that's what we do if we get rid
2. Yes pcs have to have an agent . The SNMP Scan picks up Printers, Scanners, NAS, etc etc basically everything that can not run an agent but is IT Kit.
3. Not sure on this one i think they are just different views

what I have done is i just have all my my backup logs goign to backupexec@mycompany.com so you can do that. I not sure if in backup exec you can specify different email address dependent on the condition.
Within sysaid you can integrate another email account by going to
preference
integration
and the default tab is Email and you can click add an email account and populate from there.
Once you have sysaid integrating with another email address as above you can assign different categories and route them accordingly

you can indeed remove this
Customize
Custom Notifications
on the drop down menu
choose email body to end user on SR
and then in the notification you will probably have a section like this
#if( ${Notes} && ${Notes}!="" )
Notes: ${Notes}
#end
if you remove it that should work. Be careful not to remove extra bits as it woudl make the whole notification not work. Might bean idea before you remove to copy all the text in the section to a text document as a backup
