Oooh. Its good you brought about this discussion. I am also a fan of facebook but we couldn't help but block this site from the proxy level. Actually this site was grossly being misused during office hours such that customers were even complaining. It was seriously chewing on bandwidth and also office time. It had not really caused a real security threat but I bet at the rate at which things were going it should have already started causing some. So what we did was to simply blacklist this site on the SW that runs on the proxy. So there is an "Access denied" message when one tries to access it. And with this our BW usage has greatly reduced.. think should be getting a bonus for this
