MichelleU wrote:I know this is an old thread, but I am having the smae problem. The F11 key seems to always be mapped, even if I change the shortcut key to NONE and redeploy the agent via the Deploy tool.
I've done more testing and if I change the shortcut key to anything else (for example CTRL+ALT+h) and redeploy the agent, the F11 key and ALSO the combo of CTRL+ALT+h bring up the web page.
I need to stop this.
Does anyone have the answer.
I'm having the same issues as Michelle was. I originally deployed the SysAid agent using default settings (F11 hotkey) but realized that was conflicting with other pieces of software on our network. I then used the Deployment tool to remove sysaid from all machines. I then changed the settings in my deployment tool to use Shift+Z for hotkey. Now when I deploy it seems as though F11 still works, as well as Shift+Z. Is this a registry setting that does not get removed when uninstalling SysAid?

The screenshot feature is working properly, i meant that the screenshot cannot be attached to email notifications.
To add the screenshot to the service request, you need to check the "send screen capture" check box
Best regards.

Ahhh, now I understand. Thank you for clearing that up for me Haim!

Most of my users log in to the domain using a generic domain logon. I would like users to authenticate as themselves. Is there a way to push the shortcut out there in a way that users will not be able to bypass authentication and will have to provide credentials every time?
I am using the deployment tool and end users are using the shortcut that is pushed to the desktop.

This feature does not currently exist in SysAid, if you would like to see it implemented, please open a feature request in the feature request forum ( http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/forums/show/101.page) so it can be added to our wish list for future versions of SysAid.
Best regards.

The feature exists in the end user portal (I'm runing version 6.0.04), however It just appears to be broken. Thanks for your input Haim.

Is the service request which is opened in the SysAid helpdesk include the screenshot?
Please note that currently, the screenshots cannot be attached to the email notifications.
Regards.

Yes, you are correct. I didn't know that the functionality currently was not working. Is there a fix in the works? It's a nice little feature that would be handy.

DK_Sysaider wrote:Are you using F11 or the shortcut on the desktop to lanuch SysAid?
Yes, I am launching using F11 and/or the shortcut which was added using the SysAid deployment tool. By launching this way I have the option through the end user portal to add a screen shot to my new SR. The screenshot simply doesn't attach to the email I receive with the new SR. I'm sure my exchange server isn't blocking it.
Thanks!

Has anyone found any issues with end users sending screen shots using the integrated "add a screenshot" feature? I can get the new SR entered and receive the confirmation email, but no screen shot. Any help would be appreciated!
