OHHhhh... so it's on user side...
I see...

The raise thing is NOT a bad idea... Mua ha hah ah ah ah ahahahhahahaaaa

Thanks
*wrinkles on forehead*
You've got "per page" setting on your profile ?
Where was it ?
Yep I got the notification..
Most grateful.

*slight bow smile*
Guys... I know I asked this before through the service but am confused again...
If you already got asset list... why would you need a catalog again ?

How does catalog help ?
Greetings all...
I am intrigued... in what kind of scenario do you need to duplicate SR ?
In light of my CMDB thread...
Might be better if image posted is restricted to certain size.
Haim wrote: Obelix, This is not just useful documentation although it is very effective way to keep track of your inventory and services, this is also allowing you to see the relations between CI's and that is the the big difference.

It's an improvement that we have that information ready, but if you have to create the CI manually (I know the default is good in most cases), established the relationship manually, and check them everytime a service arrive manually... Admin will get overwhelmed very easy very fast.

With the complexity and huge amount of information we have to deal with today... having those information ready is no longer enough. Automation is the key to harvest any computerized system. It's like logs ya know.. you don't watch all of them, you tagged the "failed" and "warning" thing only. Or the other more preffered way around you got notified of those "failed" and or "warning" thing only.

That said...
I love the import function for this specific reason. It categorized the thing into the correct CI and established the correct relationship Automagically !
Now THAT is what going to make a huge different.
Unfortunately... it doesn't work well.
I'll post the problem in it's own thread just in case other experience the same thing in THIS thread.

And even when this work perfectly, they are only TWO CI.
So am gonna wait till this thing matured before I take advantage over it...
*Opps kinda pause*
God I sound like a perv did I ?

Mua ha hah ah ah ah ah ahahahahahahhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Why is the import function of CMDB doesn't get all asset ?
I know I can always convert everything to delimited files... but I'm supposed not to have to do that when they are already my asset list, no ?

Precisely...
*widened orgasmic eyes*
YESSSSSSssssssssssssssssssssss.

Greetings by the way.
*slight nod smile*
Sysaid provide a user satisfaction survey which you can activate in your "helpdesk setting".
When check... everytime you close a service a link to that survey will be provided.

SysAid also provide some reports about this.
So once you get it going and have enough data you can analize them using this report.

As for how to custom both the form and reports...
*glance at Haim and wait...*
How about the mail integration thing ?
You notice how sysaid support works ?
You can file a request (which get into sysaid) with e-mail just like you request it from the user portal.

With the community thingy now taking off...
Posts will be huge and often.
Might be better if the post list is longer than 12 posts ?
Least till the "watch" thing is fix...

I uh...
*looking around for comment from other*
I think ?
*smile*
Been asking that since all this CMDB hype started...

If you follow the link on the "unable to access" message when you try to access cmdb module... you'll get a TEMPORARY license that will activate the cmdb module.
So I think yes we're gonna need new license.
Guess the maintenance fee doesn't cover new module.
*wider wicked smile*

Greetings by the way...
*slight nod smile*
That setting is specifically for one view.
Did you save it and save it to the "correct" view ?

Cause it works for me...
It set watch flag erradically and no notification was send to my address...

Ay yay yay.... the bloody extra "l" !
Thanks Haim... Thanks doberman...

Wait...
Is there notification to users when new updates are released ?
