This is possible to do in the full edition of SysAid.

To do so, please follow the basic instructions on how to customize SysAid's HTML files at: www.ilient.com/customize.htm
After creating the customized HTML folder, copy the frameHeader.html to that folder, edit it and remove the below syntax:

<img class="ImageBtn_WithHover" src="css/pageLayout/headerToolbar/send_message_idle.gif" alt="$rb.getString("topmenu.message")" title="$rb.getString("topmenu.message")" onclick="openSendMessage()"/>

Ssave the changes, then put the path to the customized HTML folder under preferences > customize > appearance> HTML files location, save the changes and click on "reload templates.

I don't like too many custom html... can this be provide as option user can choose instead ?
