Multiple Sr managers, close but no cigar.

Ok the closest thing i could find currently in doing a search on what i am lookng to do is this: http://www.ilient.com/Sysforums/posts/list/433.page#1749

We have multiple companies that are layed out by remote office. We have depts within those remote offices. So we create companies for each of the remote offices and departments within those companies. We have both company and dept managers that we have set up to see and log issues within each company and/or department.

Here is where it gets funny/sticky.

We also have regional managers that are over various remote offices. We want them to be able to see their people's SRs and such and log SRs for those locations as well. What is the best way to achieve this? i do not want to have to set up the companies based upon the regions and those change a lot these days. Is there a way to assign multiple companies to a user?

thanks,
AS

Hello AMS

For the regional managers, i think that the best way is to provide them with administrator access to SysAid, and then limit them as administrators to the companies/locations you need.

As end users, beside putting them as supervisors (which can be done to only one company and one department per user) there is not much you can play around with their permissions.

Best regards.
Haim
