				<description><![CDATA[ Dear SysAiders, <br /> [color=green]<br /> UPDATE: The app in it's latest release is now available for download in the [url=http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/12721]App World[/url]<br /> <br /> The attachment has been removed from this post - please obtain the official version - Thanks for taking part in testing ![/color] <br /> <br /> As you may already know... we are soon going to release SysAid Helpdesk App for Blackberry and it will be available in the App world for free download.<br /> <br /> In the meanwhile, those of you who would like to take part in the Beta testing of the App can do so following the below instruction.<br /> <br /> Please follow the instructions below in order to install SysAid HelpDesk App on your BlackBerry:<br /> <br /> 1.    Download and install BlackBerry Desktop Manager from www.blackberry.com<br /> 2.    Unzip the attached file into a folder on your PC<br /> 3.    Connect the BlackBerry device to your PC by using a USB cable<br /> 4.    Open Desktop Manager -> Application Loader -> Add / Remove Applications<br /> 5.    Browse to the SysAid.alx file located in the folder to which you unzipped the application<br /> 6. AFAIK (I'm no blackberry expert) our blackberry phones are connecting through the BES, so the Sysaid server should be accessible as it's on the same LAN. 				<description><![CDATA[ Installed it on my BlackBerry Tour with no problems. Entered my domain name with port number login credentials and login was painless. The app seems to be quick and responsive. <br /> <br /> My only comments are that the features seem minimal. You can see SR's and tickets but that is about it. No editing, forwarding to another tech, adding notes, etc.<br /> <br /> Will there be more in the days/weeks/months to come? How does this version compare to the iPhone app?<br /> <br /> Thanks for a great product and exceptional tech support!]]></description>

It does works the first time.<br /> Then subsequently I could not proceed with the login.<br /> <br /> Though password was entered, it always return the information dialog with the following message:<br /> <br /> ! Login<br />   Enter your password.<br /> <br /> I noticed password entered no more showing **** but the actual password and then could not proceed further.<br /> If I blank off the password, press Enter key show * and then if click Login button it does try to login but of course it won't work because no valid password.<br /> <br /> Looks like I have to wait for next version to try again.<br /> Thank you.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Hi,<br /> <br /> I've installed successfully on a Bold 9700 without problems..<br /> <br /> The few things I've noticed are it's not saving my server location, username and password so I have to type this in every time i open the application.<br /> <br /> When I have an SR open I cant assign the SR to a different admin group (would be a major plus).<br /> <br /> Also when clicking on items there is no visual affirmation that the click is successful.<br /> <br /> Apart from those few items everything worked like i would expect it too.<br /> <br /> Cheers<br /> <br /> Steve]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Installed on my Storm2 without problem but unable to log into our server. <br /> <br /> Password enters in clear text... <br /> When using "Multi-tap" keyboard and try to enter a numeric character, the password is erased. <br /> When using full keyboard get to the last character of the password, an extra character is thrown in. Use backspace erases full password. Use BB line edit to erase single char works ok, full correct password shows in clear text but then...<br /> <br /> Press Login button and receive message to enter password.<br /> Press enter key, password erases and is replaced by a single "*" character. <br /> Press login get Login failure.<br /> <br /> Pressing enter adds * character for each press of enter key.]]></description>

The app will not let me correctly enter my password. Depending on what keyboard mode I use, the password entry will...<br /> Delete when I enter a numeric character. (In multi tap mode)<br /> Add additonal characters not typed. I can however enter all stars and the program attempts to load. 				<description><![CDATA[ I have a BB Bold 9700.  v5.0.0.714 (Platform 5.1.0.146) I just updated it and added the SysAid for Blackberry and can't get it to work.  I am connected to a BES which I am the administrator for.   We also have SysAid 7.0.5 isntalled and working on our server. I am the only trying to get it to work for the Blackberry but I do have someone who's using the iPhone version and the Droid versions successfully.<br /> <br /> URL: <a class="snap_shots" href="https://sysaid.domain.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://sysaid.domain.com</a> <br /> Username: my username<br /> Password:  my password<br /> <br /> Everytime I put in my password I get an error message:  Login Error Incorrect Login Information OK. It wants Connections set to Allow and Internet set to Prompt.  I save the changes. It says "Internet connection is not authorized - please restart the application and allow internet access.  Can't get any further than this.  I am on a BES and have full rights to my Blackberry.  Any suggestions?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Hi Sivan,<br /> <br /> I downloaded and installed v1.1 to my BB Curve 8530 v5.0.0.654 last night after updating the Blackberry.  The installation went well, no issues.  <br /> <br /> I can log onto my server and the incidents appear for about three seconds then dissappear. This was corrected by upgrading the server from 7.0.04 to 7.0.05<br /> <br /> When I choose an SR it will open and I can make modifications.  I couldn't find a place to add an activity to the SR.<br /> <br /> New incident: Sub categories don't populate. All other fields seemed to work but I could not save the SR because it required a sub-category and third level category. (Note, the Sub Category lists populate in SRs that have already been created.<br /> <br /> Search: This seems to work OK by using either a full text search or the incident number.<br /> <br /> Assets: Came up with a blank page with server 5.0.04 but works great with 5.0.05. Very cool!<br /> <br /> We are really looking forward to using this App!  To make it useful we will absolutely need to be able to add ACTIVITIES to an SR or Task.<br /> <br /> Thanks for creating this!  Like SysAid it is changing our world.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Here's my update on SysAid for BB :<br /> <br /> 1. Every time the apps starts, the logon screen reverts to mobiledemo.sysaid.com with mobile as username.<br /> 2. When viewing the incident list, that's all I can do. I can't select any incident to view its detail. I can only scroll through the list<br /> 3. In the search screen, I can type in the 'Full Text Search' and 'Search SR by ID' fields but the 'Search' and 'Search SR by ID' buttons do nothing when I click on them.<br /> 4. When creating a new incident, the only category drop down list working is the main category. The sub-category and third level category fields are always empty (beside Please select ...). The 'Change' button for Request user does nothing (like Search). Neither does the Ok, Cancel and Apply buttons. In short, I guess you can say I can't create incident from my BB.<br /> 5. In assets, I used to get a blank list now I get 'Request Entity Too Large' on top of the screen and nothing else. I have over 3000 assets stored in SysAid.<br /> <br /> I guess it's safe to say the app isn't working very well for me.<br /> <br /> I'm at version 1.1.2 of the app.<br /> My Blackberry is a Curve 8330 and my OS is at level 5.0.0.580.<br /> My SysAid server is at level 7.0.05.<br /> <br /> Quick question. Have you tried in with the new Torch? We should be changing our Curves for Torches in the next few weeks (hopefully days).<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Got my new Torch (9800) since last week and I've installed SysAid on it. Here's my finding :<br /> <br /> 1. Like for my old Curve, every time the apps starts, the logon screen reverts to mobiledemo.sysaid.com with mobile as username. Kinda annoying.<br /> 2. Unlike for my Curve, I can now view and create new incidents without any problem. Woohoo!<br /> 3. I still get 'Request Entity Too Large' and nothing else when trying to view assets. I have over 3000 assets stored in SysAid.<br /> ]]></description>

Also I'd really love to see that a "message" pops up like in the web interface of Sysaid when a new message arrives.<br /> <br /> The controls aren't that intuitive as the webinterface is.
