How do I change my server URL?

I already have the server on a static IP with a domain pointed to it and changed the port to 80.

Now the only issue I have is the enduser signup still points to the old server URL.

I currently have the login working as:

http://mydomain.com/Login.jsp

but on the enduser portal, when you click on the link to sign up it points to:

http://myservername:8080/SignUp.jsp

which is no longer valid.

Need it to point to:

http://mydomain.com/SignUp.jsp

or

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/SignUp.jsp

for my static IP.

Re:How do I change my server URL?

Dear Rico82, thank you for the post!

If you changed your server URL then you must overwrite the old server URL that is written in the registry of each end user's machine.
There is 2 ways to do so:

1. Via the Network Discovery: You need to un-deploy and re-deploy the Agent from all end users machines. Un-deploy is a must as re-deploying the Agent over an existing registry entries doesn't overwrite previous ones.
2. Via the external Deploy SysAid Agents tool. The SysAid Administrator Tools must be installed in order to have the Deploy SysAid Agents tool. It's available under Preferences -> Downloads.

If you need any further assistance please don't hesitate to submit a service request.

Best regards,
Zehavit Belo
Customer Relations
