LDAP Username Change with upgrade to 8.5.05

After upgrading Sysaid to 8.5.05, any new user we create in AD gets "DOMAIN\username" instead of "username" for their username field, the rest of the fields are importing correctly.
Is there any settings that I should be looking for to make sure all new users are the same as the other 150 we have in there? I couldnt find anything after 2 test users and browsing every option in Sysaid.

Thanks,

We are having the same problem. It also makes searching by username harder because you have to remember to use domain\username to search for anyone added after the upgrade.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi all,

Thank you for all your comments in the post and sorry for the late replay.

Since version 8.5 any new user imported from LDAP would be in a domain\user format.
All users imported before should remain as just user as long as you had just one LDAP integrated with SysAid.

This should not affect any functionality of your SysAid server, and if it deed please update us as we would like to check and resolve this.

Best Regards
Ido Shomer
SysAid Customer Relations

Hi Ido,
Since version 8.5 any new user imported from LDAP would be in a domain\user format.
We'd like to use loginname - First and Lastname as User name display method. But the loginname contains the domain. Is it possible to avoid the domainname?

--
kind regards,
Erik
