Asaf Volshtein

VP Research & Development

At the helm of SysAid Technologies Research & Development, Asaf has steered a number of SysAid product releases through to successful completion since joining SysAid in 2007. Co-leading the design phase of future SysAid releases, Asaf oversees the build, implementation, QA, packaging, and release stages of SysAid development, and manages second level post-release development. He brings a unique and flexible all hands on deck approach, and is often found programming alongside his team.

Before joining SysAid Technologies, Asaf was a Software Engineer at Sun Microsystems for over six years, where he co-developed the award-winning J2ME Wireless Toolkit for mobile applications, highly acclaimed by Developer.com as the Product of the Year in 2006.

Asaf holds a BA in Computer Science and Economics, and an MBA from Bar Ilan University in Israel, with a specialization in Finance. He also has a registered Skipper's License, and enjoys sailing on weekends.
