SysAid Release 5.6.09

The following bugs were fixed in Release 5.6.09:

In the SysAid Asset List, when there are many assets are listed, Internet Explorer 7 takes up to 3-5 minutes to load.

No translation to Russian of SysAid interface was available

Under Analyzer -> Inventory -> Asset Details, when choosing a single asset and clicking the Browse button, it is impossible to scroll down in the list of assets which appears in the popup screen which opens.

It is impossible to perform search in the knowledgebase in Unicode languages, when using MSSQL database.

In the SysAid knowledgebase the search was not case sensitive.

In the SysAid service request list, it is impossible to search for words or expressions in a Unicode language.

All iframes presented in SysAid (for instance, in the Project’s task tab) appear in the same size, regardless of their resolution.

Under System -> Software Product, when performing a search in a Unicode language, and in the case you are using MSSQL database, the search fails.

In the Service Breaches Report, the service request number shows only the first three digits.

In the Satisfaction by Category Report, the calculation of the average is incorrect

Trying to print the service request list failed.

When filtering and then resetting the report Open Service Requests per company an error occurs.

Under Preference ->User Management -> Permissions, when choosing “Limit to its company data only”, the user can still login to the Manager Dashboard and choose to see opened service requests according to companies which are not his/hers.

In the report Satisfaction Level by Administrator, the calculation of the number of service requests is incorrect.

When choosing to export a report to an Excel format, the output is incorrect.

When a message is sent to a user who is identified by a domain and a user name, in Unicode languages, the username is cut

When using MSSQL database, the character double backslash (\\) is automatically turned to a triple backslash (///)

When an admin creates a new user in SysAid or updates the details of an existing user, the information of this user is saved by mistake in My Settings page of that admin.

When adding a new administrator and then choosing to send a note, SysAid registers the new user as the sender of the note.

When the user name includes special characters such as  /u, it is impossible to edit this user’s information

In the Software Products page, when sorting the list of products according to the Installed column, the page crashes.

When the admin does not have a permission to edit the service request, an attachment to that SR cannot be opened

When using Windows server 2008, uploading a translation to Russian form the SysAid community fails.

When adding a new administrator without inserting a first and a last name, SysAid does not register this user as the

When using email integration, HTML tags would appear inside the SR message, instead of influencing the appearance of the message.

Under Integration -> Text Message, if you click the Save button more than once, the password is saved incorrectly

SysAid allows to set a username with special characters, but does not allow to open the user details page in order to edit them.

When creating a new web form and choosing from the list of available fields you wish to be visible in your form, some of the selected fields are not visible in the form.

Due dates in service requests could not be changed.

When resetting a filter for a report regarding a project, an error occurs.

The string  "Attempt to login using disabled user" appears more than once

Operating times appear only in a 12 hours format

Under Monitoring -> Workstations, the CPU usage percentage could surpass 100%

When a Windows server is used, in a console session when no one is logged in, remote control cannot be opened

The SysAid agent would identify multicore CPU as two separate CPUs

When using the deploy tool some of the asset information is not reported to the server.

HTML tags would appear in the body of the SR message

The calculation of the average in
the Satisfaction by Category report is mistaken.

In the SysAId CMDB module, when printing the CI list, only CIs with an active status are actually printed.

The button of Search by SR ID page appears corrupted in some resolution

The customization of the asset list fails in case that there are special characters inside the string.

When using IE6 browser, SysAid alert PNG image which was not displayed properly.

In the SysAid Self Service Portal, the GUI layout in the screen "View your old Service Requests" is out of order.

In the SysAid helpdesk module, when using IE7 browser, the SR messages dialog pops up behind the screen.

When administrators with a backslash in their username close a service request assigned to them, in some cases, SysAid nevertheless asks whether to assign the SR to them.

When creating a SR from a phone call and adding an attachment to it, and then creating another SR from the Phone Call page, the previous attachment still appears.

When a phone number was added to a form in SysAid, spaces left at the end of the number would cause errors.

Email integration with SSL requires a certificate validation.

SSL LDAP requires a certificate validation

Under Preferences -> Helpdesk Settings -> General Settings, when checking the box "Send email notification to the submit user ", it is impossible to save the page.

Both the administrator and the end user would receive an email notification that is supposed to be sent to an end user alone.

When the IE7 refreshes the page, the focus shifts from the window you have on top, back to the SysAid window.

When adding an attachment to a service request in the SysAid End User Portal, problems with the appearance of the page occur.

Upgrading from SysAid 5.5 to 5.6. release caused a loss of Bios data

With certain databases, tasks that are not attached to any project are duplicated and appear in new projects.
