Hi, I recently created a Sysaid Free Cloud account, I installed the agent in 14 computers, but when I try to see my asset list, it is empty.

At the beginning I thought it was a firewall or an antivirus problem, I tried to disabled both, but it didn't work.

I looked the agent log and discovered the information is being sent:

05/19/15 14:31:49:627 [P] SysAidSM::SysAidSWService::OnStart SysAid Agent service started
05/19/15 14:32:19:877 [P] DeviceManager::Init Agent has been launched:

The current agent version 15.2.00.101

Current Offline Counter 0
The Next activated will be at 19/05/2015 10:37:26 p. m.
05/21/15 15:08:55:057 [P] SysAidSM::SysAidSWService::OnStart SysAid Agent service started
05/21/15 15:09:31:685 [P] DeviceManager::Init Agent has been launched:
Operating system platform: 64 bit
.Net version 4.0.30319.34209
The current agent version 15.2.00.101

I don't know what to do.

Thanks in advance.

Gabriel.

Hi Gabriel,

Please confirm the following requirements between one of these machines and the SysAid server:

First make sure that the desired machine is on the same sub network as the SysAid server. If not then please refer to the remote discovery service download link, located in Preferences -> Downloads page.
Please make sure to take all of the following steps:

1) Choose a specific machine that you want to deploy on by its IP address (I will use 192.168.1.10 as an example).
2) On the SysAid server, please go to Start -> Run -> and type in the following command:
"\\192.168.1.10\c$" in order to make sure that you have access to this machine's hard drive.
3) Try to create a test.txt file in this location, in order to make sure that you are able to write to this location.
4) On SysAid server, please go to Start -> Run -> and type "regedit".
Then make sure that you are able to connect to the chosen machine regedit, by clicking on File -> Connect Network Registry -> and using the same IP (192.168.1.10), and expand "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" -> "SOFTWARE".
5) On the SysAid server, please go to services.msc and try to connect to 192.168.1.10 services by clicking Action -> Connect to another computer -> and connect to \\192.168.1.10
6) Please make sure that the local firewall is disabled both for the SysAid server, and for the 192.168.1.10 machine. Or if you have an external firewall device then please disable it temporary in order to perform this test.
7) After you did all the tests, please try to Un - deploy from this specific machine, and then to deploy.
In order to un deploy and redeploy, please go to Network Discovery and choose to deploy / undeploy agents to this specific machine by its IP address, and make sure that you are using the Domain administrators credentials for the deployment.
8) Make sure that these relevant ports are open on the SysAid server, and On the specific machine:
137
138
139
445
8193
By using the telnet command.

Once you are able to deploy on this specific machine, you can try to deploy to all other machines on your network by following the same basic rules.

Let me know if this resolves the problem.

Cheers,
Danny

Yes, i do. Better... when i trying trial full version, on the same asset updates work fine.

I dont understand that issue, network is the same, workstation and RDS server is the same.

Hi,

This is interesting. Can you please reproduce the issue and send us the \SysAid\logs folder and \SysAid\Configuration\AgentConfigurationFile.xml file to our helpdesk for investigation?

Please post the number of your ticket here afterwards so I could follow up.

Thanks,
Danny

Hi,

We have checked your Cloud instance and there appeared to be some problem with the scheduler service. We have re-enabled it and it should work now.

Let me know if this resolved the issue.

Danny

Hi,

Are you using SysAid Cloud, or the On-Premise edition?
Have you followed the instructions I posted earlier in this thread?

Cheers,
Danny

We are seeing the same thing on our cloud version. Asset does not update at all or takes a LONG time to update.

Approximately how long does it take for the asset to update? Does the problem recur every time, or sporadically?

Thanks,
Danny

I'm experiencing the same problem. I have a free cloud account.

I've deployed the agent to 27 computers. I can see all the 27 computers in the asset list but all the 27 are empty, without any information.

Does anybody has resolved this issue?
