Is there a way to automatically create an SR at specified, reoccurring, intervals?

Hi,

This is possible using the Tasks & Projects module.
Go to Settings > Tasks & Projects > Notifications, and create a new notification with the "Insert a Service Record" checked. Here you can also design the incident details per your liking.
Afterwards, go to Tools > Tasks and create a new Task. In it, go to Notification, select the notification created above, enable it, and set the parameters for recurring as you'd like.

Hi Danny,

Sorry to hop onto this older question, but it's related. I have a few issues:

1. Our system seems to create two tickets for this. No idea why.
2. Is there a way to show the ticket it created in the original so we can reference back to it?
3. When it sends an email can I have it show my custom fields? The email will show the basic ones ($title, $category, etc), but I cannot get it to show my custom fields (like name, employeeID).

Regarding point 3 - you can find the information on including custom fields in this help page.
