folks,

I'm trying to customize notifications to end users for a set of tickets created in a specific Admin Group (group called GPS).

I am effectively wanting to provide a notification providing them directions on how to open a service record going forward. their method is by necessity different from the rest of our teams on SysAid.

This is what I've entered on my sandbox.

#if( ${Status}==New && ${AssignedGroup}==GPS )

Going forward please open all tickets on the End User Portal.
#elseif( ${Status}==New )
<h3 class="null">Thank you for contacting ${AssignedGroup},</h3>
We have been notified of the following:
<br />
<span style="font-size:15px"><strong>Title</strong></span></span>: ${Title}
<br />
<span style="font-size:15px"><strong>Description</strong></span></span>:
${Description}

Click <a href="http://support.ogsteam.com//EndUserSRView.jsp?id=${ID}&EndUserLink=YES" target="_blank"><u><strong>here</strong></u></span></a> to view the status of your Service Record at any time.<br />

==================================================
Keep this email for your records.
<br />
Your Service Record is <span style="font-size:15px"><strong>#${ID}</strong></span></span>.
<br />
If you have any further updates regarding this service record simply reply to this email.
==================================================<br />
#end

The notification that I get in my tests is blank (see attached).

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Paul,

You'll need to use quotation marks -- ${Status}=="New" and ${AssignedGroup}=="GPS", otherwise it will break the notification

Thanks Danny,

I have tried the following now to try and simplify.

#if( ${AssignedGroup}=="GPS" )

Contact PAIGE

#elseif
Thank you for contacting ${AssignedGroup}.

This email is confirmation that your ${StatusNotification} has been received.

Service request link: <a href="https://support.ogsteam.com/EndUserSRView.jsp?id=${ID}&EndUserLink=YES"> Link </a>

Title: ${Title}
Description: ${Description}

#end

notification still comes in blank.

You're using #elseif instead of #else. #elseif requires a condition similar to #if. It would work in your first example, but not in the second due to no conditions being specified.

Cheers,
Danny
