At no time is it possible to activate, I only click on "save change", I do not click on "Cancel"

When I click on "save change", nothing happens, it is not activated, it is not saved, it is always kept disabled, it does not succeed at all

In your screenshot, it shows the integration is toggled to "Enabled", clicking on Save shouldn't produce any message. However - when accessing again the Third-Party Integration page, the addon should appear under "Your Integrations". Does it appear there, or under "Optional Integrations" when you try to enable it like I described?

Interesting. I suggest contacting our customer support team with your SysAid logs after reproducing the issue for deeper investigation. To download the logs you can either:
Click on your profile on the top-right of the SysAid screen > About, and in the popup window that opens click on "Download Log File".

If the above doesn't work, please collect following folders/files manually:
...\SysAidServer\root\WEB-INF\logs (entire folder, zipped)
...\SysAidServer\logs (entire folder, zipped)
...\SysAidServer\tomcat\logs (entire folder, zipped)
...\SysAidServer\root\WEB-INF\conf\serverconf.xml
...\SysAidServer\root\WEB-INF\conf\sysaid.ver
...\SysAidServer\conf\wrapper.conf

Afterwards, please create a ticket in our Helpdesk, copy your issue description, and attach these log files.

Please update here once the issue is resolved.

Danny,

I changed my password to less then 10 characters and I can login now.

Is there a reason why it is limited to 10 characters ?

Hi Rudi,

I believe this is a bug. Just to make sure - this only occurs in the Barcode Scanner app, and no other login screens or other SysAid apps, correct?

Danny,

Now that I can login (with password <= characters) I have a new problem.

When I scan a device, I get this error message:
Invalid View
name:barcode_Hardware device
(This is for an existing CI item with CI-type = Hardware device).

I have this error if the device's barcode is already in SysAid or not.
I the item is not yet in SysAid, (Add new item) I need to select a CI-type after the scan (eg. Asset). After this, I get the error message:
Invalid View name:barcode_Asset

This is only in Android version. In iOS version it works.

Hi Rudi,

I suggest you contact our customer support team for a deeper investigation of the issues at hand.

I also suggest sending them the SysAid logs as explained in one of my previous posts here.

Please post here with the solution once it's resolved, to help other SysAiders who may encounter it!

I'm now starting to have issue logging in with the barcode app and I believe our password must a length of 10.

so will there be a fix for the length or has it been fixed and I have a different issue, I know it has worked before I tested it back a couple of months ago maybe December or January but now it's not working anymore.

What exactly is the issue when you try to login? Do you receive any error message?

Yes I receive a network security error, I had it setup before and it worked fine but something must have either changed in out network and no one told me about or something is going on with the app.

I know at one time the password length was an issue is that still true ? what about special chars ?

I don't think there should be an issue with that. Can you please send me a screenshot of the error, or the exact wording of it? I'll pass it over to the team.

Which version of SysAid are you using? Is it Cloud or On-Premise? Are you using SSL connection? Is the option Settings > Customize > Account Defaults > "Allow only SSL connections to SysAid (https)" checked in your SysAid?

I have tried on the Beat and also v17.2.03 b6
