Danny Tashiev wrote:Interesting. I'd like you to collect logs once again, but this time please set your log level to DEBUG, restart your SysAid server service, reproduce the issue and collect the new logs.

Instructions to enable the DEBUG log collection mode:
1. Go to ...Program Files\SysAidServer\root\WEB-INF

2. Edit the "log4j.properties" file

3. Locate the following line: log4j.logger.com.ilient=INFO, sysaidLogFile And change it to log4j.logger.com.ilient=DEBUG, sysaidLogFile

Thanks,
Danny

Hi Reason,

The logs indicate that the memory limit has not been raised. Can you send me a copy of your catalina.sh file for checking?

Thanks,
Danny

Following the catalina.sh file, there is an indication your Tomcat is having problems with the Sessions folder. Please stop your Tomcat, delete the /home/SysAid/apache-tomcat-7/work/Sessions folder (change the path to suit your system), restart Tomcat and check if the problem resolves.

Cheers,
Danny

Where do I change the path at?

There is no Sessions folder under Work.

Interesting. Since there are still notices regarding low memory size, I suggest restarting tomcat once again and checking sysaid.log file for Upper Memory Limit value for the most recent startup - this should indicate a size larger than 256MB, or the change did not take effect.

If the above fails, stop Tomcat once again, and change the memory size line added previously in catalina.sh file to

Save the file, restart Tomcat and check if the issue resolves.

Cheers,
Danny

Like I said, there was no Sessions directory.
I did add your recommendation of "export CATALINA_OPTS="-Xms256m -Xmx1280m -XXermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m"

Its still doing the same thing. Its not loading the data. Just the navbar.

When you search for Upper Memory Limit in your sysaid.log file now (the link should be after yesterday's change), does it still show less than 300MB?

Cheers,

I just did a search for "upper" and "memory" in the sysaid.log

Neither search criteria brings up anything.

It should be under \srv\apache-tomcat-7.0.56\webapps\sysaid\WEB-INF\logs, like this:
2016-06-23 17:37:43,136 [Thread-10] INFO com.ilient - Memory Upper limit is 207 MB.
2016-06-23 17:37:43,136 [Thread-10] INFO com.ilient - Memory Warning limit is 181 MB.
2016-06-23 17:37:43,136 [Thread-10] INFO com.ilient - Thread timeout limit is 2 minutes.
2016-06-23 17:37:43,136 [Thread-10] INFO com.ilient - Thread CPU limit is 50000 ms.

Does this no longer appear in your log? Can you send us the logs again if possible?

Thanks,
Danny

Very strange. Can you check if perhaps the machine is running multiple Tomcats?

Additionally, try killing Tomcat and attempt to connect to SysAid again without starting Tomcat up again - what is the result? Does the page not load at all, or do you receive the black bar?

Thanks,
Danny

There is only one version of Tomcat running / installed on the web server.

After killing tomcat, nothing comes up.

Can you post the results of the following commands?

free -m
cat /etc/lsb-release
ps aux |grep tomcat

Thanks,
Danny
