Running a report with relative dates

I need to schedule 160 reports by location of all Service Records opened from July 1st to current (the date a scheduled report would run). Is that possible?

I have 80 schools (actually 160 reports because they want them bi-weekly and for some reason Sysaid can't do that so i have to make dupes and schedule them monthly set to run two weeks apart) that I need to schedule a report of all tickets for that school opened from July 1st to present (this would run every other Friday). I don't see anyway to run a report with relative dates. Someone please tell me this is possible. WebHelpDesk in 2009 allowed me to do this.

Just wanted to clarify, what i need to do is make alot of scheduled reports that will run on Service Requests opened between July 1st and "Today" ("Today" being whenever the report runs). If it were just one report I'd have no issue with going in and manually changing the report to "today's" date before it runs but I obviously can't do that with 160 reports every 2 weeks.

Hi mdixon,

The regular time filter as you've noticed is either dynamic or fixed, but not both. For the filtering you're looking for, please go to Advanced filter, add Request Time filter, and add "greater than" condition for July 1st. This will display any tickets opened after that date.

Let me know if this is indeed what you're looking for.

Cheers,
Danny

Thanks, yes this is helpful. I realized this shortly after I posted and then forgot to come back and close the thread.

One thing i noticed is that if I have more than one field set under "basic filter" sometimes one of the fields doesn't actually filter anything. I've just started using only one field under basic filter and then all of the rest of my conditions under advanced, that seems to work fine.

Hi mdixon,

Are you referring to any fields, or if the same field is present in both Basic and Advanced filters? If the same field is present in both - you should clear one of them to avoid a conflict.

Cheers,
Danny
