When we don't want to show fields in the e-mail we use a code like this

#if($sr.getAddonFieldValue("CustomColumn1126sr")!="" )
========================Other hardware===========================================
$sr.getAddonFieldValue("CustomColumn1126sr")
========================Other hardware===========================================
#end

However in this field there is already predefined information from the template that the user needs to fill in further - if nessary. It it possible to check whether the user has typed something in the field while retaining the text from the template?

Hi Spikeycloud,

If I understand your question correctly, you can expand the #if condition to include the text from the template, no?

I I understand your's correctly then no, we don't want to show that field in the e-mail if the user did not fill anything in there. But there is still standard text in there that comes from the template.

Like

Type:

Model:

So if the user did not type anything there we would like that the field is not shown in the e-mail.

My meaning was that you could add these predefined names to the != "" condition to ignore the field if it has only that text in it.
