Change Status when a Note is added?

Hi!

Is it possible to change Status to open when a user adds a note to a closed SR? It's not important for the admins, as they get an email, but would be useful for the dispatcher.

Hello Michel.

You can change the status of a service request when an end user add notes by going to preferences > end user portal, check the "When an end user adds a note or attachment;" checkbox and choose the "open" status from the status drop down list.

Hi Haim,

yes thats a fine option, but we already use notes instead of mails to communicate with the requester. We only want to change status when a note is added after the SR is closed. Perhaps thats something for a future release.
