Interestingly, neither the new machines, which the agent is being installed are managing to update inventory information, record the IP, or communicate with the server, but without detailed information of the object. Anyway deletes the files and we will see if it resolves.

I forced myself to update two machines, one there a long time and one I installed yesterday that still contained only the IP, both continue with the update date 06/23/2016, when was the installation of the SysAid WINTER 16. emphasize a single file was created in the folder.

Hi Mauricio,

Is it still not updated now? How many files are now in the folder?

Could you send me the agent logs from the newly installed agent?

Additionally, are you using RDS?

Thanks,
Danny

We will need to investigate this further. Please send me the first 3 files in the folder, as well as SysAid logs once again. Please send those over a private message.

Thanks,
Danny

Thanks Mauricio,

There is an indication to a possibility of upgrade corruption. At this point I suggest stopping your SysAid Server service, backing up your database and SysAid Server folder, then completely uninstalling SysAid and MSSQL, then running a fresh installation of the latest version of SysAid, stopping the SysAid Server service, and replacing the database with your old database, and restarting the service.

Let me know how this goes.

Cheers,
Danny

The easiest way in your case would be to stop the SysAid Server and the SysAid Server (SYSAIDMSSQL) services, go to \SysAidMsSql\MSSQL10_50.SYSAIDMSSQL\MSSQL\DATA folder, copy the files ilient.mdf and ilient_log.ldf to a backup directory outside this folder structure (because the original folders will be deleted).

Then simply uninstall SysAid and MSSQL completely. Afterwards, download the latest version of SysAid, install it, stop the services mentioned above (SysAid Server and SysAid Server (SYSAIDMSSQL)), go to the same directory and copy your old ilient.mdf and ilient_log.ldf files to it, overwriting the new files. Then, restart the services you have stopped.

Let me know if this works.

Cheers,
Danny
