Do you think maybe I need to update the bar code add-on ? I know I had received two different version.

Let me know the process to re-load the bar code add-on and I will be happy to try just placing the zip in the folder did not work so I assume I need to remove the version that is on the server now ..

Hi Jim,

Is the addon set as "enabled" in your system at the moment?

If so - I'm pretty sure this is not the problem, but to rewrite the addon you have to disable it in SysAid, then stop the SysAid Server service, delete the addon files in the unzipped folder, put the zip file into the zipped folder, then restart the SysAid Server service and enable the addon.

Have you tried testing it in your office network?

Thanks,
Danny

I did try it in the office with the same phone and also with another phone I have and it did not work.

I may just try re-installing the add-on I know at one time I had to have a different one for test that I needed for production

the two I have are v16.3.17 b10 and v16.3.18 b12 and the more I think about it I think I did an update in production and I did not update the barcode add-on the one I think I had in production was v16.3.17 b10 and v16.3.18 b12 was on our test system at this time our test and production is running the same sysaid version so that is why I'm thinking it has to do with the barcode add-on.

I guess it's worth trying! Either way I suggest checking with our support if this doesn't work. Please update here once a solution is found

Thanks,

Is there a way to keep track of which user last modified the SysAid record?

Hi sbd001,

Which records are you referring to specifically? Most items in SysAid contain a History tab/field which shows any changes made to the item.

Cheers,
Danny

Ok so as it turns out our network team while adding the SSL cert had some issues they re added the cert to our network and everything is now working so it turns out our SSL was in error.
