I think the mysql database got corrupt during the upgrade to the newest version of sysaid.

I restored mysql from the beginning of the year and it loads now.

Thats good enough for now.

Thanks for your help and support.

Danny,

Can I rename the /sysaid_free/ folder /sysaid/ ?

I have sites pointing to it and don't want to change them unless I really have to.

Will it break anything with the renaming?

Hmm I wasn't aware the directory changed in the latest fresh installations of Free. Changing the directory name will most likely break things, yes. For these purposes people usually use DNS - instead of renaming, try to create a DNS record that will point all requests for 'sysaid' to the new location, if possible.

Will this work for you?

Thanks,
Danny

A question:

I have the same problem, I upgrade to 16.1.25 and sysaid not load principal page. I reinstalled a sysaid free version, but now I have this version:

SysAid Edition / Package _> Pro Plus Edition
Build Number -> v15.4.16 b8
Database Vendor -> MySQL

Now it's working, I have to re-install upgrade file? Or I'm waiting for another version that works?

Hi johnny,

I'm not sure I understand. You're using SysAid Free normally, correct? Then you installed an upgrade, SysAid stopped working, you reinstalled SysAid Free and now your edition changed to Pro Plus?

I understand you have a Pro Plus license according to our records, is it possible you used the wrong installation of SysAid? The free installation will not ask you for a license file, therefore it can't upgrade to Pro Plus.

Cheers,
Danny

Hi,

Yes, I had the same problem with sysaid upgrade, then I follow instructions to install free edition, finally I put my good license, so It converts aplication from free edition to legacy edition.

Now I have a PRO PLUS version installed.

I have SYSAID installed in a Linux CentOS 6.8, with Apache Tomcat 7.0.70, and working with MySQL 5.6 (the database are in another server).

I look for a full installation of SysAID for Linux with the last version, but i don't found in sysaid website. The last full version I installed from scratch was 14.x and I was thinking the last free sysaid version downloaded will be 16.1.25, and my surprise when I start aplication and I see it was 15.4.16.

I make something wrong? How can I upgrade to 16.1.25?

Hold on. If you're using Pro+ edition, you shouldn't download SysAid Free. These are completely different editions and installation files. If you managed to hook up your database to the Free edition, it probably shows your last version before the upgrade, simply because you haven't actually upgraded your database -- and using a version of SysAid different than the database might (and most likely will) corrupt your database.

Please stop this SysAid Server process and contact our customer support team for further investigation and instructions.

Cheers,
Danny

Hello

It's seems to be an issue on Linux with Sysaid Winter 16 2nd edition, since I also have this problem. I'm upgrading from 15.2, Tomcat 7 and it presents exactly the same problem, a non responsive navigation bar. However, my end users can use SysAid and send request without any issues, of course my admins can't do anything with that, they only got the emails that SysAid send.

We have Pro version so I already requested for support (SR #1582769) but it's been three days and it doesn't seen to be a solution.

Any help would be appreciated
