Thanks a lot for your feedback!

I'm checking this and will get back to you as soon as we have tested it and have an answer. In the meantime, could you please provide step-by-step instructions on how to recreate the issue, should we fail to recreate it under our conditions?

Cheers,
Danny

Edit: We could not reproduce the issue under our conditions - I shall wait for your instructions

Hi Danny

1) a new ticket with standard Prio for notification comes in
2) notification to the admin via email and push notifications to the iPhone app
3) Admin edited ticket in the WEB UI! After completion, it assigns the status Close
4) In the iPhone app is still the notification as New by last Push Notification (unread)

"Status Close" is not considered

Thanks have fun

Still can't use the IPad app caused by the domain\user problem.
Is there a solution already ?

Hi Philip,

Which version of SysAid server do you use? From my understanding, this bug has been fixed in version 15.2

Danny

I noticed that the issue with not being able to the log into the iPad app started about 9 months ago.
Just started trying to use the app today and am having this same issue.
Was there ever a work around posted for this?
Thanks,
Sam

Hi Sam,

As mentioned in my previous post, this issue should be fixed in 15.2. Which version of SysAid server are you running?

This might be relevant to you guys:
Bug #16629: Fixed a bug that prevents admins from accessing the iPad App when SSO is enabled in their environment.

This has been fixed in SysAid 15.4.01 - the fix is already implemented in Cloud, and On-Premise Beta 2. The final version of On-Premise 15.4 (Winter 16) is scheduled for release in January.

If you wish to join the beta, please join our Pathfinders Program and PM me if you don't receive the download link.

Cheers,

Has this issue been resolved?

I still cannot use the iPad app (version 1) with SysAid.

I just upgraded to v16.1.25 b28 and when signing in with iPad, it just kicks me out to the iPad's home screen.

thanks

Hi RC,

Does the issue occur when you're trying to log in? If so, please check the permissions for your admin account for "Enable access via mobile app" and check it if it's unchecked.

Please let me know if this is the issue.

Danny

Hey guys, an update on this old thread:

We have checked the LDAP login issue in the new iOS app and it didn't appear to reproduce, so I can suggest downloading the new app and letting us know should you encounter any issues

Thanks,
Danny
