Hi guys,

If I have released the new selfservice portal in guest mode and the url: https://mustertest.sysaidit.com/servicePortal/ direct calls I will be forwarded to the login page!

In the old end-user portal this worked directly.

Furthermore, if I as registered end user an existing Incident track or change is missing the button "OK" or "Cancel"!
When I add a note, the new note is not displayed in the view of the enduser.

Thanks for a comment guys

Hi Karlson,

Can you please clarify? Do you mean that the user is always redirected to the login page, even if he is already logged in?

Regarding your second question - I'm not sure I understand.

Can you please provide step-by-step instructions to reproduce both issues?

Thanks,
Danny

Hi Danny,
If I the URL for the first time calls I am directed to the loginpage! There I have the link "Login as guest" press. Only then I get the new Selfservice page displayed. I think this is a step too much

To the second topic I'll still create you screenshots!

Cheers

As you can see in the view of the screenshot, the buttons "OK" or "Cancel" are missing! To get out of this view, I can only use the browser's history buttons. This is good for an homepage but not for an application!

Regarding guests - understood. Since this is the current implementation, we can open a feature request for this if you wish.

Regarding buttons: This screen doesn't require OK and Cancel since all actions are saved atomically. The user can navigate back by pressing on the logo, or clicking their username and going to SSP from there (requested by one of the posters on this forum). Do you want some additional indication/button to go back?

Cheers,
Danny

Yes Danny,
In any case additional buttons!
The logo or login link is not visible for end users!

For the link theme, please open a feature request in my name!

Sure thing. Opened FR #28432 for the Back button.

Regarding Guest and direct SSP link - this will need to be discussed with the team. We don't want scenarios where logged out users submit tickets as guest because they didn't notice they're logged out.

Thank you Danny

In the reference guest and Direct SSP link I can only say that this is already the option. If I do not want to open a ticket without login I will disable this in the settings!
If I want the end user to open a ticket even without a ticket I can enter the optional.

Cheers

Correct, however what happens if the user already has an account in your system but was simply logged out? Either way, we will discuss this. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi guys,

Where can I rename the buttons "Submit an Incident" and "Submit a Request" or assign a different language?

thanks for your help

Hi Karlson,

These can be changed in the Translation file:
ssp.toolbar.SubmitIncident
ssp.toolbar.SubmitRequest

SSP strings will go through an official translation process soon, as well.
