Changing an Admin back to an end user

I know how to change an end user into an administrator - is there an easy way to change an administrator back to an end user?

WELL...
you should be able to, in the permissions of that user and un-check SysAid Administrator, unless that admin is a Main user ,which is the user that installed sysaid then it is grayed out,

but it does not seem to be working with the current ver v5.5.06

It's probably not recommended, but I have done it by changing the 'administrator' field in the database.

Currently, the only recommended way to turn an administrator to end user is to delete the administrator and re-create it as an end user.

removing the "administrator" tag from the database is not recommended as it can cause issues and lose of information.

? really? How strange. You would think the ability to easily turn an admin back into a normal user would CERTAINLY be built into the functionality of the program. Not being able to, rather having to delete the user comletely and recreate the user is definitly an issue.

Finding myself in the same situation, needing to make an administrator an end user, I agree this response is nonchalant. Another cross against useability SysAid!

So we had to delete the admin - can we reattach her sysaids back to her user account?

What happens to the user's ticket history if you delete the admin and recreate the enduser?

If you create a user with the same user name so all the history will remain.
