We are excited to share with you our very big news:

We've just launched a hot new product - SysAid CSS – the world's first totally FREE On-demand Customer Service and Support Software.

https://www.sysaidcss.com

While SysAid is primarily aimed at IT administrators who provide service for internal organizational users, SysAid CSS is designed to help your organization provide external support to its customers.

As Israel wrote - SysAid CSS is a new product and has new and exciting features !

The relevant features will be of course integrated in our main SysAid product very soon !

Some of these features are:

- An option to Quick create Contacts/Accounts from within the Helpdesk
- A New field available in the Helpdesk - Display active SR-s out of total per end user (1 Active out of 17) - this gives you a clue on the activity the end user has with you.....
- Enhnaced Logo display capabilities - (doesn't stretch)
- New tag - your company name - to be used in the notifications.
- Import users and companies from CSV file
- Quick lists - common issues can be entered as templates ans chosen by end users and Admins for quick entry of SR-s.

This new product will help upgrade the service approach in SysAid and constantly bring new features from the world of customer service to the core product.
Of course these new additions will be fully compatible with previous releases and they won't be mandatory to use or adapt.

Try it out ! https://www.sysaidcss.com

Is there a difference in functionality between the SysAid full edition helpdesk module and the features provided by SysAid CSS Pro besides the latter is running on your servers?

Yes. There are many new features that mainly needed in support for external customers. There is also naming changes.

One of the features is anonymous access to the self service so your customers will be able to submit SRs without login:

You can also easily integrate the self service portal in your website as an inner frame.

Another features let you easily search SRs by contact (end user) and account ( company) and then show the contact and account details in expendable line above the SR:

A demo account is not yet ready so I suggest that you open a free account and view it yourself:

Are some of the new things we are seeing in CSS going to be in SysAid 5.6 as well?? e.g. The inner frame and the updated icons? I know the SR search on the top menu is already an included feature. Looking good though Isreal! Well Done.

Looks pretty good so far. Any chance the the Remote Control piece will find its way into SysAid CSS?

Hey there,
SysAid CSS currently does not have the asset management and the agent which are needed for the remote control.
This feature might be added in a later version.

Best regards.

From what I have seen so far, I like where you are going with it. Any plans in the future to make CSS available for people to run on their own servers rather than fully hosted? Our environment requires us to run these services locally.

Hi colynda,

We currently provide only a Hosted solution for SysAid CSS (SaaS - Software As A Service)

This is our strategy at the moment - SysAid CSS is aimed to external support providers for all services (not only IT).

It is also built on a designated platform with robust redundancy and tuned for optimal performance.

Again - this is our strategy at the moment - if we change it in the future we will of course announce it.

I am a user who licensed the original offering before CSS was available. I use it exclusively to service my external clients. Why is there no offer to switch me (and others like me) at no charge and grandfathering in my existing renewal scheme? Why would I pay more now and on a recurring basis for what is basically the same thing?
