open a new Ticket with an url and a specifc "Assigned to" Person

Hi Guys

Im writing a Programm for the User where they can rightclick on an tray icon and directly create a Ticket that is assigned to the available IT-Specialist. So in that Programm I have a string like root\itspecialist which then should be in the assignd to list in the new Ticket. Is there a way i can implement this into the URL?

Something like that:
(http://ticket.also.intra/index.jsp#/SREdit.jsp?id=0&fromId=List&SR_Type=1&templateID=12260&assignd_to=root\itspecialist)

Hi Lukas,

I apologize for the late reply, I somehow missed this thread.

The URL function you're describing does not exist, but starting with version 16.2.50 a new feature will be implemented which takes tickets which are assigned to an admin group (via routing rules etc) and automatically assigns them to the admin with least workload. This will be available in Cloud relatively soon, and in On-Premise in mid-summer

Is this functionality available now and if so how do I go about implementing it? We are on the hosted cloud system, build v17.3.52 b3.

Hi Stanway,

You need to access the relevant admin group under Tools > User Management > Groups, and at the bottom of the page, check "Enable automatic dispatch of service records".
