Question about the free version of SysAid?

Hi guys.

I don't know if I'm even allowed to ask this here, but I was wondering whether we could run the free on-premise version of SysAid on top of a MySQL database as it refuses to install by default as we already have other SQL databases here such as WSUS and one for the Kaspersky AV and so on.

Any ideas if this is even possible?

I know that in the paid on-premise version one can go for the MySQL database.

Thanks.

Hi escotland,

As you already mentioned, selecting a non-embedded database is only available in paid version of SysAid.

You can compare the paid editions here, as well as use the Trial version if you're interested in evaluation. We hope you'll find the amount of additional features worth it

Cheers,
Danny
