Afternoon!

I have installed it on a Mac here in the office a few hours ago. How long after the software is installed till it shows up in our SysAid Inventory?

Secondly, I see the SysAidAgent in Applications. When I double click it, it opens, makes a clicking sound - like a camera, then closes. Is this correct or should it do something else?

This is running on a MacBook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.1

It's not installed correctly then.

I re-ran the install and it now opens Safari and the SysAid website.

Is this new agent going to support patching on MAC OS X?

Not at first, but this functionality is planned for a future version.

@5.7FSN - our R&D team has investigated the logs you have provided and suggested to report more to us should you encounter further issues, as the most recent logs seem to be OK (both configuration and installation-wise).

Cheers,
Danny

Danny I will do so. I have another MacBook pending purchase this month, so it will be a good test subject.

Hi,

The installation script doesn't support the interval command.

Cheers,
Danny

You guys, it's probably best that you edit their serial out of this thread.

If you mean you want the agent to update asset data every 5 hours, this can be chosen by configuring the update schedule in SysAid Settings > Network Discovery > Update Asset Data.

I see the share has been disabled. Any way to get the latest of what you've worked on to install it? We have a new mac in the office and it would be good to have the agent on it. The version available uses old JAVA and I don't want to install that if I don't have to.
