This is a problem that happens pretty often and is very annoying to say at least. We have the setting that administrators can't look in other admins action items. However when the action item is not assigned to anyone they can't look at it either and this is very annoying because we don't know on before hand which admin needs to access the action item. Some help on this?

Hi Spikeycloud,

According to ITIL guidelines, the process manager is responsible for assigning action items to specific users and those users are responsible over their action items. Users shouldn't be able to see unassigned action items if they are not the process manager for this reason. Technically we can open a feature request to add a permission of allowing them to see unassigned action items as well, but this would be a deviation from the ITIL guidelines. My suggestion would be to have admins who are process managers and who's role it is to oversee these things.

Let me know.

Cheers,
Danny
