Installing the highlighted file gets me this error and installing the 9.1 patch again gets me nowhere as it does not ask for migration to be done!

Hi pstringer,

I'll send you a PM message to a 14.1 update that should go through with the Derby migration. Version 9.1 didn't force the migration, but 14.1 does. Once you've upgraded to 14.1, you can then run the upgrade for 14.4.

One thing to note about upgrading to SQL, is that SysAid Free will not install the SQL Express 2008 R2 database on any server that has SQL. There also have been issues with installing SQL Express 2008 R2 on servers that previously have had SQL, but if you're able to completely remove the SQL installation, you should be ok.

Cheers,

Michael

Hi is there a Solution in that Problem , we have the same prob at Step 16

A few searches on Google has results that the error could be related to corruption, but it's not definitive and not something we've seen before. I'm checking with our customer relations team on the best course of action.

Which edition are you upgrading? It may be better to have our support team handle the migration since they can work with the database and determine the best way to either repair, or work around, any corruption in the database. I'll update the thread when I hear back on suggestions.

Thank you!

Michael
