Tel Aviv, Israel – October 25, 2011 – SysAid Technologies Ltd., (http://www.sysaid.com/IT), a leading global provider of IT Service Management (ITSM) and Customer Service Support (CSS) software, announced today that mothers2mothers (m2m), a South Africa-based, non-governmental organization, has won iPad 2 tablets, for each member of the IT team, in SysAid's global sweepstakes. In addition to the six iPads for the IT administrators, SysAid also donated another six iPad 2s for use within the organization to assist m2m's coordination of activities and services throughout the region. The extra iPads found their way around Africa - to Kenya, Malawi, and Zambia.
"Out of the hundreds of companies, institutions, and organizations that entered this sweepstakes, SysAid is very happy to see an organization like mothers2mothers selected as the winner," said Israel Lifshitz, founder and CEO of SysAid Technologies. "Once the winner was drawn, we took a closer look at m2m and were so inspired by the organization's work in their dedication to the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV that we decided to donate six additional iPads on top of the sweepstakes prize. We hope that our small donation will allow the organization to expand the important work it is doing."
SysAid IT is an end-to-end help desk and asset management solution that supports all leading mobile platforms on all mobile devices, including the iPad 1 & 2, as well as all tablets running on Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone 7 OS, allowing IT administrators to manage and maintain their IT environments using the mobile device of their choice. In August, SysAid Launched SysAid IT 8.1, extending its mobile capabilities to include new Mobile Password Services that allow end users to self-reset passwords and unlock network accounts via their mobile devices.
SysAid's unique sweepstakes reflects the company's emphasis on the important role of mobile technology for the IT industry. SysAid offered to fully outfit the IT department of one company or organization, by providing a brand-new iPad 2 for each IT administrator. Customers purchasing SysAid's latest major software version, SysAid IT 8.0, or upgrading with new modules, were eligible to be selected.
"We use SysAid for three years now on a daily basis. It's one of the only constants in our ever-changing IT environment," said Paul Pienaar, IT manager at mothers2mothers. "As a distributed organization working in multiple countries in Africa, we would find it very difficult to manage all our service requests, if we did not have SysAid. We are very pleased to have won the sweepstakes and look forward to using the newly acquired iPads to serve greater numbers of women more effectively. We thank SysAid for its donation, which goes above and beyond what was set out originally."
