FAQ
Contact us and a SysAid consultant will be in touch to walk you through a customized evaluation process to help understand your needs and help match you to the best plan for your organization to ensure you’re not overpaying for features or capabilities you don’t need yet.
“Yes! Simply start a free trial and you’ll get access to all SysAid features. No credit card details or any prior commitment required.
At any point during your trial you can choose a plan and pay from within your account using any of these payment methods: PayPal, credit cards, bank transfers, or check. Whatever works best for you.”
The cost of your plan depends on several factors: from the type of package that would best fit your organization to the number of users and assets—such as workstations, servers, mobile devices, and more—that need to be managed by the system.
If you’re looking to build a business case or validate the value of ITSM automation, our ROI Calculator is built for that. Just enter a few operational metrics—like ticket volume, resolution time, and team size—and it will project the time and cost savings SysAid can generate. It’s a quick, data-driven way to evaluate the impact of streamlining your service desk.
“Our team will be happy to help you figure out which SysAid product will help you and your IT team best.
When meeting with your SysAid consultant, they’ll get a deeper understanding of your team (and org) size, level of maturity, and your future growth plans, and will help match the right types of features—from automations and integrations, to BI and analytics—to best match your needs.
This step will make sure you’re not overpaying for features you don’t need at your current stage of growth. While also leaving room for you to add and upgrade as your needs change.”
We have a variety of implementation plans to choose from to facilitate your move to SysAid.

Capacity is counted in tasks, not tokens
Tasks are weighted by the work they take. A password reset counts as about
a quarter, a hard device fault about eight. About 150 a month is what a typical technician’s mix adds up to on Standard.
¼ task
“Reset my password”
“What’s the temp password for this user?”
1 task
“Remove Photoshop from my computer”
“Convert a leaver’s mailbox to shared and remove the license”
2 tasks
“My PC is running slow, can you look into it?”
“Offboard a departing employee, disable all access”
3 tasks
“Run a full health check on my laptop”
“Install a printer on every workstation”
8 tasks
“New docking station, the external monitors keep dropping”
“Work through the queue of open tickets and remediate each one”
Real requests from users, lightly edited.
Every Dex license puts one Autonomous IT Engineer on your team, with its own capacity in Dex Pro.
If a technician runs out on Thursday, they are back to full on Monday. A heavy week never eats the whole month.
Everyone Dex helps in Teams, Slack, or Google Chat draws on one shared pool. No seats, no plan of their own.

FAQ
Only capacity. Standard gives a technician about 150 tasks a month; Max gives about 450. Same product, same capabilities, same integrations in every other way. Standard suits most technicians; Max is for the people whose week is onboarding, offboarding and fleet work. You can move someone up at any time and it applies immediately.
Tasks are weighted by the work they take. A password reset counts as about a quarter of a task. Removing an app, about one. Offboarding an employee, one to two. Installing a printer on every workstation, about three. A hard device fault, about eight. About 150 a month is what a typical technician’s mix adds up to on Standard. Your usage page shows the exact number.
Dex pauses that part of the work rather than charging you. Capacity refreshes weekly, and you can move someone to Max at any time to keep going right away. You are alerted well before you get there.
Weekly refresh keeps a heavy week from eating a whole month. If a technician runs out on Thursday, they are back to full on Monday rather than waiting for a billing cycle.
A technician gets a block of capacity: the investigations, actions and cross-system work Dex does on their behalf in Dex Pro. The employees Dex helps in Teams, Slack or Google Chat are not seats and never need a plan of their own.
Monthly or yearly, by credit card. Paying yearly costs 17% less. Your base bill is your technician count at your agreed price; the only thing that adds to it is moving a technician to Max. Cancel any time; it takes effect at the start of your next period and nothing is charged after that. No cancellation fee, no notice period.
Yes. Every account starts free for 30 days with no credit card. Connect Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, set your policies, and Dex takes its first requests the same day, with an onboarding engineer alongside you if you want one.
